RED CORNER RENEWS CONTRACT WITH W CITIGYM AT WATERFRONT CEBU
To further expand RED CORNER’s reach in the hopes of servicing the ever increasing requests for BOXING to be included in people’s fitness routines, RED CORNER has sealed a long-term deal with W CITIGYM at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug Cebu. Major improvements in both gym construction and facilities are currently being fast-tracked to meet the major launch this March 2006. This stronger partnership lays its best foot forward by synchronizing rates and fitness center services and facilities with that found it’s affiliate branches in Metro Manila. Also member’s at the Red Corner Cebu branch may enjoy workout reciprocity privileges, hence gaining workout access to the Metro Manila centers.

Who recently has signed up with TEAM RED CORNER as the official Rehabilitation Consultant. This distinguished speaker sponsored by Nike, lectured on the latest updates in the field of fitness & athletic training brushing on topics like active isolated stretching and positional release techniques. But primary focus was on Kinetic Chain Analysis which states that force is first generated from the feet and driven upwards and translated via the inter-connection of joints and muscles. Through this process, muscular integrity maybe determined and problematic areas may be pinpointed. TEAM AVENGERS GETS TRAINING BOOST FROM RED CORNER
Philippine Flag Football League Women’s Football upstarts, Team Avengers coached by Dino Lopez, Chino Pastor and Red Corner’s very own Joseph Pagulayan, has seen great leaps in their training sessions due to the introduction of Plyometric exercises. Thru plyo principles, athletes like the Avengers develop explosive power and improve jumping ability. This along with skill based training as well as resistance workouts assure that sports enthusiasts play at the peak of their game! Pinciples were adapted from Red Corner’s PLYO EDGE program which is currently offered at Red Corner Club 650 Libis. PLYO EDGE offers programs for: Badminton, Boxing, Basketball, Football, Soccer, and Volleyball

RED CORNER VALUES EDUCATION
Joseph Pagulayan, Red Corner’s Vice President and co-owner shared his thoughts and experiences to the students of the Center for International Education. The class was given a background and history of how Red Corner came to be a force in the fitness industry. They were given a view of marketing tools and techniques often used in this particular field, management processes, and tips on what to avoid when setting up their own businesses. This activity hopes that the RED CORNER Entrepreneurial spirit may inspire these future business leaders to pursue a level of limitless greatness.
